State failure has devastating consequences for lives, livelihoods and the economy.  A state that delivers quality services is vital for dignified lives, economic growth, and creating jobs.

Zackie will address these failures and ensure the rule of law is upheld, benefits working-class families and helps to safeguard our nation’s economic future.

Parliament has a mandate to build a participatory democracy to ensure accountability, transparency, and public involvement in its work.

Zackie will work to ensure that the voices of working-class people and progressive experts are heard in Parliament in order to develop pro-working class policies and programmes that work for the people.

We can’t continue to wait for the state to act. We are building a knowledge- based movement through education, organisation, and mobilisation at neighbourhood and community level.

Every citizen has the duty to work alongside the state to address the day-to-day challenges in our unjust and unequal society.
